I got tagged ... And effectively forgot to do this little thingy for a week or so ^^;. So, I may as well since I'm planning on writing a lot tonight. This morning. Whatever ^_^.

List five truths. Five things that are on your mind. Good, bad, it matters not. Lift some weight off.

Sorry about skipping out on our IM convo the other day, Kiwi. I got into a phone conversation with Greg and effectively forgot everything else I was doing -_-. I do that entirely too much. I really wanted to chat with you and I totally missed the boat ^^;. Quick question: Do you happen to still have Omar's mailing address?

I just got a letter in the mail from Zack. I really miss him. He doesn't know it but he really brought me back from the edge more than a few times. Since I'm planning on doing so much writing tonight/tomorrow I may as well write him a letter back while I'm at it. Actually, I really, desperately want to write him back. He's the second person to tell me not to go into the military because it's hell--right around the time I start considering it as a viable option--and I want a little more than that. Honestly, it's hell where I am right now anyway.

I want these and these too. And this makes me laugh.

I really hate my new job. That's right, I just got hired by Gamestop about three weeks ago and I already hate it. I have plenty of reasons, but I guess the main one would be the utter disrespect I get from most male coworkers. Thank goodness my manager and assistant manager are decent guys. Most of the rest of them can go to hell. Honestly, there's no reason why I should know on my first day which games are where in all those black drawers behind the counter. Sure, they're labeled with numbers, but I haven't got a frickin' clue what any of those numbers mean, nobody bothered to brief me on that. In fact, they don't seem to feel like they need to tell me a fucking thing. Sure, I have worked retail. Yes, I can handle customer service, money, and fumbling around an unfamiliar register program. However, there's no reason for me to know our entire inventory, especially when I only come in once or twice a week. Not to mention getting called into one of the other stores and having them expect me to have THEIR inventory memorized. WTF? Bleh.

I really hope that one of these days I can actually make a living with my writing. I know it probably sounds like something out of the blue to most of my friends, but it's something I've been dancing around since I used to fiendishly gobble up anything I could get my hands on to read in grade school. My problem right now is this phobia of the big picture. I need to relax and take it by small steps. Just write for the sake of writing. If I get caught up in the overall business of life, I'll just freak out and never get anything done.

Well, there's that. Wish me luck ^_^.

There must be some mistake,
I didn't mean to let them take
away my soul,
am I too old,
is it too late?
Where's the feeling gone?
Will I remember the song?

The show must go on...
